Rising at an altitude of 2,357 m, the Estanys de la Pera shelter is located on the southern slope of the port of Perafita, next to the Estanys de la Pera. The facility, inaugurated in 1957, is a crossing point of the GR 11.10, one of the variants of the trans-Pyrenean trail par excellence, which connects Cerdanya with the Principality of Andorra. It is a cozy refuge where you can enjoy good cuisine and wide views towards Cerdanya and the Serra del Cadí. It is an ideal place for hiking and mountain biking in the summer and mountain skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, with mountain profiles that are mostly quite rounded, ideal for practice of these mountain disciplines. In summer, its short approach, the ponds and the waterfall make it a highly recommended place for families and children.

  • Access by vehicle
    A Martinet agafem la carretera LV-4036 en direcció a Arànser. Un cop arribem al poble, el creuem i seguim carretera amunt fins a l’aparcament de les pistes d’esquí de fons d’Aransa. En aquest punt, haureu d’aparcar el cotxe i continuar a peu per un camí ben indicat que surt derrera del restaurant de les pistes i que us portarà fins al refugi (total 2h 15′).
    A L’AGOST, ES OPERATIU EL SERVEI DE BUS LLANÇADORA DES DE CAP DE REC (LLES DE CERDANYA) I DES DEL FORNELL (ARANSA) FINS POLLINERES. (3€ anada i tornada).
