Conditions, communication, reservation and cancellations

 

  1. GENERAL AND PARTICULAR CONDITIONS RECRUITMENT, COMMUNICATION, RESERVATION AND CANCELLATIONS

REFUGIS DE CATALUNYA, hereinafter, OCI MULTIEDRIC S.L., with NIF B65064248, domiciled at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​SAF Polideportivo Building 1st Floor, 08193 Bellaterra (Cerdanyola del Vallès) web company .centralderefugis.com, acts as an intermediary between its clients and each refuge or mountain lodge (hereinafter, "refuge"), establishing the accommodation contract directly between the client and the refuge in question, being the refuge, with which the client has formalized the contract, responsible for the correct execution of this accommodation contract in the terms established in it, as well as any other obligation that corresponds to its scope of management in accordance with current applicable legislation.

OCI MULTIEDRIC S.L., in its capacity as intermediary, is responsible for:

  1. Diligently manage the reservation requested by the client, transferring at all times to the client throughout the reservation process the information related to the accommodation service selected by the client (according to the data previously provided by the refuge in question)
  2. Send the corresponding reservation confirmation to the client, as stated in the following sections
  3. Transfer to the client the information previously received from the shelter in question and vice versa
  4. Any other obligation that corresponds to you according to the current applicable legislation. The refuge and the company will respond to the client based on the obligations that correspond to them in their scope of management in accordance with current applicable legislation.
  5. RESERVATION PROCEDURE AND PAYMENT METHOD:

To reserve a hosting service through the web, the following steps must be carried out:

1) Selection of shelter
2) Search for availability
3) Introduction of data and acceptance of the general conditions and data protection policy
4) Payment of the reservation

Before finalizing the reservation process, the user must expressly agree to the shelter and dates of stay selected by him, as well as to the general conditions of the refuge and its particular conditions, and to the personal and payment data entered.

Likewise, the user is responsible for correctly entering the data that is requested to carry out the reservation process, such as their name and surname, ID or passport...

In the event that during the reservation process and before its completion the user detects that he has made an error in entering data, he must go back to the corresponding screen where he can correct it or, in failing this, start the booking process again.

To be able to formalize the reservation in a specific accommodation and for a specific date/s, the payment of a % of the total of the reservation and extra services contracted as a deposit will be requested. This deposit must be paid via credit/debit card.

The remaining amount must be paid directly to the accommodation and this will be the one that must issue the service bill for the total of the subscriber.

If the banking entity does not authorize the charge to the card that the User uses as a means of payment, a warning will be shown to the User on the web page informing you that the payment could not be made. Therefore, if these incidents occur, the reservation cannot be confirmed.

Once the reservation request process has been completed, if the bank accepts the deposit charge to the card provided by the customer for this purpose throughout the process, the corresponding reservation confirmation will be sent to the address of email previously provided by the customer. From that moment the accommodation contract will be directly formalized between the accommodation in question and the client, acting at all times Central de Reserves de Refugis i Albergs de Catalunya (OCI MULTIEDRIC, SL) solely as an intermediary .

Along with this confirmation email, the corresponding reservation number will be sent, which in any case must be presented for identification purposes at the accommodation and be admitted at the time of your arrival at it.

  1. THE USER DOES NOT ASSIST THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL OF DISTANCE SALES

As provided in article 103 l) of the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 which approves the revised text of the General Law for the defense of consumers and users and other complementary laws, in contracts that refer to the supply of accommodation services for purposes other than housing if the contracts provide for a specific execution date or period, as is the case, users are not assisted by the right to withdraw from distance sales consisting of the right to withdraw from the distance contract for any reason with the right to a refund of the full amount paid within 14 calendar days from the day the contract was signed.

Therefore, in this case, if the user requests the cancellation of the accommodation reservation, the provisions of the Clause relating to "Cancellation of the reservation by the User once confirmed" will be applicable. . which you can find in the "Reservation and cancellation conditions" on this website.   1. CANCELLATION OF THE RESERVATION BY THE USER ONCE CONFIRMED:

The accommodation will retain the following percentage of the down payment:

  • 25% of the payment and signal if canceled before 15 days to the date of entry*
  • 50% of the payment and notice if canceled between 7 and 15 days before the date of entry*
  • 100% of the payment and signal if canceled within 7 days before the date of entry*

(The percentages indicated above will also apply if the cancellation is for weather reasons).

*IMPORTANT: the day of entry to the refuge is NOT included in the calculation of the number of days of notice.

In case of cancellation, the Center for Reservations of Refuges and Hostels of Catalonia (OCI MULTIEDRIC SL) will deduct from the amount to be returned, 3€ VAT Included per reservation and person, in terms of management costs and bank charges.

  1. NO PRESENTATION BY THE CUSTOMER AT THE SHELTER (“NO SHOW”) WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE ON THEIR PART:

In the event of non-presentation by customers at the accommodation in question without prior notice (what is commonly known as "NO SHOW"), the user will lose the 100% of the payment and signal.

  1. HOUSING SCHEME

Before formalizing the reservation, the user must select the desired accommodation regime. The food plan contracted when making the reservation cannot be modified. The difference between the final cost of the reserved services and the amount of the payment on account (deposit) made, will be paid directly to the reserved accommodation.

  1. ITEMS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:

The prices do not include in any case the extra services of the refuge not included in the selected accommodation regime.

  1. PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY

People with reduced mobility, before proceeding with the reservation request, will have to inform OCIO MULTIEDRIC, S.L. In such a situation, in order to assess the possibility and feasibility, the service must be treated according to its characteristics.

  1. ANIMALIEKIN BIDAIATZEA

The entry of animals into accommodation is not allowed.

  1. REQUEST FOR SPECIAL SERVICES

The request for any type of special service by the user must be made at OCI MULTIEDRIC, S.L. in any case prior to the completion of the accommodation service reservation process. These special requests are always subject to availability of the accommodation in question.

  1. CLAIMS

Clients can file their complaints and claims or request information about the services offered or contracted through the intermediation of OCI MULTIEDRIC, S.L. through:

COMMUNICATIONS VIA EMAIL OR WHATSAPP

The client accepts at this time the authorization to carry out communications through the WhatsApp instant messaging App or via email in order to expedite the management of the contracted services and communication between both parties, for which express consent is requested. No type of advertising is sent via WhatsApp.
